Giraffe with a Dream

For most of Marsha Monel’s life, it’s safe to say that she stuck out in a crowd, and even standing alone. Besides from almost always being the tallest person in the room, she is usually the first to crack a joke in tense moments, to speak her truth despite discouraging glares, and to see with wide eyes those made to feel invisible.

Standing at 5 feet and 10 inches tall, more sensitive, creative, and ambitious than ever, Marsha has come to understand and appreciate the beauty in all that makes her different. More importantly, she’s discovered that together, her unique quirks form a superpower rare to most people’s characters, one that is magnetic, inspiring, and dynamic all at once.

Marsha takes every opportunity she can find to better herself, sharpen her skills, and secure her future. She is presently enrolled in NYU’s Tisch School of Art’s Modern Screenwriting Certification Course, while still taking time to draft and revise original screenplays and poetry.

Over the past several years, she has come to terms with what she once believed was a curse: She simply does not, cannot, and will not fit it — Good for her.

As a hard worker, committed student of life, and natural empath, Marsha has honed her abilities in a way that make her not only an effective communicator, but also a compelling storyteller. No wonder she has found herself in roles geared towards both marketing and filmmaking!

She has realized the value in her voice, and she refuses to give up on her creative pursuits until her dreams are realized also. You will one day witness her dream come true, as her work shines brightly and boldly on the Big Screen. She promises it to be as unmissable, meaningful, and sincere as she is — The Giraffe with a Pen.
